Content Types: Landing Page
Landing pages are dynamic pages that allow you to build the page using blocks and offer multiple branded background colors. Blocks can be arranged in any layout you desire.
Adding a New Landing Page
Follow the steps below to create a new landing page:
- Click Content in the admin toolbar.
- Click the + Add Content button.
- Click Landing Page.
- Enter the title for your new landing page.
- Indicate whether you want the page title to be visible. By default, page titles are hidden.
- Optional: If you want to add this new page to your main menu, click the Menu Settings tab in the sidebar, then select the menu placement.
- Click the Save button.
Adding Content to a Landing Page
After you create a landing page per the steps above, you need to add content to the page. Follow the steps below for adding content to a landing page:
- Click Content in the admin toolbar.
- Click the name of the landing page you want to edit.
- Click the Layout tab.
- Click the + Add section button in the area you want to place the block.
- Choose a layout for the new section.
- Select a style for the new section, then click the Add section button.
- In your new section, click the + Add block button.
- Click the + Create custom block button.
- Select the block type corresponding to the type of content you want to add.
- Complete all required fields, then complete optional fields as needed.
- Click the Add block button.
- Click the Save layout button at the top of the page.
Editing a Preexisting Landing Page
Follow the steps below for editing a preexisting landing page:
- Click Content in the admin toolbar.
- Click the name of the landing page you want to edit.
- Click the Layout tab.
- Modify the block configuration for any items that need editing. If necessary, add, remove or change preexisting sections or blocks to meet your needs.
- After your changes are made, click the Save layout button at the top of the page.
